Above ground pool installation

	After you purchase your above ground pool there are certain procedures to follow. You will need a permit from you municipality. Depending where you leave, different cities will have different regulations concerning above ground pools. Even in some cities above ground pools are forbidden. Please check with your municipality for details. We will deliver the pool before we install it. We need to do so in order to keep our costs down. We ask that the payment for the pool hardware be paid on the delivery and a second payment on the installation of the pool. The installation date will be approximate. We can not give exact dates. We do promise that your pool will be installed in the order from when it was purchased. If someone promises you a date... BEWARE. Unless they can control the weather or foresee the future they have promised something out of their control. If it rains for a week before your installation, we will be later than expected. We believe that if our customers understand our frustration with the weather they too will be less frustrated when it hits 30 degrees in June.
	The first thing we do is find out where to install the pool. If there will be nobody at home when we do install please indicate the center of the pool with a picket. Even better is to actually draw the pool using a special paint available at you local hardware store. The filter is usually placed besides the pool. If you need the filter and pump to be located else where please advise us. We remove the sod and soil. Our installers do not have the room in their trucks to transport it from your property. Our installers bring sand, gravel dust and tools necessary to install you pool. It is the responsibility of the client for the removal. Most municipalities have a service to pick it up for a small fee. You can also ask neighbours or friends if they would need any grass. Once the pool is filled with water you can always put some grass back around the pool.
	We ask our clients to supply 4 12"x 12" patio stones in order to install the filtration system. If not we will install the filtration system on a gravel dust base. The patio stones make a nice touch. We use HAYWARD POOL PRODUCTS. We believe that it is the best valve for our clients. Hayward's filters built better than any other filter on the market today. Each filter can resist 50lbs of pressure compared with our competitors of only 35lbs. Our exclusive Hayward Matrix programmable 1.5hp - 2 speed pump is the best on the market today. This pump not only pumps more water than other 1.5hp pumps, IT SAVES YOU MONEY. The savings of using this pump compared with a regular 1.5hp pump is about $75 a year!!! Even compared to a pump with a timer, our pump out performs anything on the market today. We only use the highest quality fittings, hoses and clamps.
	The bottom of the pool consists of gravel dust and sand. Around the pool where the posts and wall sits we install 4"-6" compacted gravel dust base. It is about 1-2 feet wide. The bottom drain and drain pipe is also encased with compacted gravel dust. The ring is levelled from all points. This ensures that the swimming pool walls will be levelled. We can always add a geo textile and carpet to the bottom of the pool but nether are necessary in the installation. Some clients add an insecticide powder around the pool to prevent ants from going under the liner. (I do not know if this works.)
	The sand is brought into the pool and the bottom tracks are being placed. We strongly suggest a NON-metal track. Our Aqua Leader's bottom track is made with resin. Resin does not possess any corrosive properties, which is unique compared with steel or aluminium. The outdoor environment is surrounded by corrosive materials. Chlorine used for sanitation and the ground that is the pool's foundation, are extremely corrosive and will attack metal components used in the infrastructure of other manufactured pools. Aqua Leader pools will not corrode under these circumstances because they are manufactured with Synflex. This technology was developed by Aqua Leader to resist all environmental factors. Aqua Leader pools are then graphite reinforced for added strength and durability.
	The track is measures in every angle to insure the proper layout. It is important to have a good quality bottom track. The greatest stress point on the pool is on the bottom track. Aqua Leader's Synflex resin bottom track are 1 1/4 inch wide. They come with exterior shields giving them strength and style. The shields on the outside surface of the tracks prevent the wall from coming out when the ground heaves. The exterior shields lock the wall into place.
	The sand is placed with a slope leading towards the bottom drain. Depending on the size, shape and ground the slope will vary. Usually the saucer is about 4"-6" deeper. The wall is placed into the track. Our competitors add a 1/32" "insulation" foam around the inside of the pool. This does not help keep you pool warm! A solar blanket is a much better investment.
	When installing the liner we suggest an Aqua Leader J bead liner. This is a better choice than on overlap liner since the liner has been built exactly to fit the pool. Overlap liners are generic liners that every company uses. The liner is hung over the wall and clips are put into place to keep it from coming down. You can tell if a liner is an overlap since it will show from the outside of the pool. The Aqua Leader J bead liner hooks onto the wall, there is no adjustments to be made since it fits like a glove. BE AWARE of companies that sell thicker liners!!! The thickness is only in the walls and not the complete liner. Aqua Leader liners are 100% vinyl and come with a 15 year guarantee. Ask to see the difference between an Aqua Leader liner and a generic liner. Seeing is believing.
	See that was not long at all... Fits like a glove! The interior of the liner is vacuum sucked, and and the air between the wall and liner is removed. Once the liner is in perfect position the bottom drain is cut and the drain cover is installed. DO NOT USE THE POOL WITHOUT THE BOTTOM DRAIN COVER !
	Aqua Leader's top tracks are 1 1/4" wide, made with Synflex resin. This eliminates any possibility of fiction between the wall and top seats, and safely secures the Aqua Leader J bead liner in position. Notice there is no overlap on the out side of our pool! vs An overlap liner from our competitors.
	We ask if possible for three separate water garden hoses. Ask you neighbours for some help. We only need the extra hoses for about 20 mins while we position the liner. This will help use make sure the liner in is perfect position.
	Aqua leader pools are truly round . The skimmer we use is a large mouth 12" made out of ABS. Once again we only use the best products available, at the very best price we can offer our clients.
	We are done... now we need to wait for the pool to be filled. Once filled we ask that you bring use a sample of the water to our store. We will explain how the pool functions and how to maintain the water chemistry. Our goal is to provide our clients with the best possible customer service.
